Story

Lucerne Ambassador

I have officially been named a Lucerne Ambassador. For rhpx.ch, this is a meaningful confirmation of my photographic work in Lucerne, focused on places, light and perspective.

A closer connection to Lucerne

Lucerne has shaped my photography for many years. Within a small area, the city offers a dense range of subjects: the Reuss, the old town, Chapel Bridge, the Water Tower, the KKL, the lake and the mountains beyond.

As a Lucerne Ambassador, I can now share this perspective more consciously. Not as a fast collection of familiar views, but as an ongoing photographic engagement with a place that changes with light, weather and time of day.

Photography between city, water and light

What interests me most in Lucerne is the relation between clear lines and quiet moments. Wood, stone, water, glass and mountain contours often appear close together. Small changes in light can shift the whole effect of an image.

Chapel Bridge feels different in the early morning than it does after rain. The Water Tower can stand calmly in the frame or become part of a stronger line across the Reuss. From the lake, the view opens towards Pilatus, Rigi and Bürgenstock. These changes make Lucerne a dense photographic place.

What being a Lucerne Ambassador means to me

The appointment as a Lucerne Ambassador is both recognition and responsibility. It fits what rhpx.ch aims to show: local photography with a careful eye, reduced text and a clear visual language.

I do not want to make Lucerne louder than it is. Many strong images appear in quiet moments: when the city has little movement, when clouds shape the light, or when a familiar view changes through a small shift in perspective.

Thank you for the support

This step would not have been possible without the people who have followed my work over the years. Thank you to everyone who looks at my images, shares them, comments, orders prints or talks with me about places and subjects in Lucerne.

A special thank you goes to Lucerne Tourism for their trust and for including me in the Ambassador programme. I look forward to continuing to show Lucerne and Central Switzerland through photography.

Outlook

rhpx.ch will continue to feature stories, galleries, photo spots and selected prints from Lucerne and Central Switzerland. The focus remains the same: Photography. Prints. Perspective.

If you know a place in Lucerne that is visually interesting, feel free to get in touch. Some subjects are easy to see. Others only appear after several visits.
