How this image was taken

Using a focal length of 400 mm allowed for capturing the bear from a distance, while the shutter speed of 1/500 s ensures a sharp image of the animal's movements. The combination of ISO 6400 and an aperture of f/6.3 provided sufficient exposure under the given lighting conditions.

  • Use a long focal length to maintain distance from the subject and achieve a composed frame.
  • Select a short shutter speed to freeze animal movement and prevent blur.
