Photography tips
How this image was taken
This shot in a dimly lit interior required a high ISO sensitivity of 4000 to capture enough light despite the short shutter speed of 1/13 s. The aperture of f/4 and a focal length of 12 mm allow for a wide capture of the architecture.
- Use a short focal length like 12 mm to capture the entire church interior and the ceiling projection in one frame.
- Choose a wide aperture like f/4 to allow as much light as possible onto the sensor in difficult lighting conditions.
- Adjust your ISO values to match the light situation to achieve a correctly exposed image at 1/13 s while holding the camera.
