Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this night shot, the f/16 aperture provides a deep depth of field, while the 1/8 second shutter speed and ISO 800 setting effectively capture the available light on the rain-slicked asphalt.
- Use an aperture of f/16 to create a distinct starburst effect around point light sources like headlights.
- Adjust your shutter speed to 1/8 of a second to ensure enough detail is recorded in the reflections despite low ambient light.
- Set the ISO to 800 to achieve a balanced exposure in night conditions while keeping image noise under control.
