Photography tips

How this image was taken

The long exposure time of one second creates a deliberate motion blur in the passing vehicles, while the small aperture of f/16 ensures consistent sharpness across the building facade.

  • Use a small aperture such as f/16 to achieve great depth of field across the entire building in architectural shots.
  • Select a long exposure time to incorporate the movement of vehicles in the foreground as a dynamic element within the static image.
  • Pay attention to precise alignment of the camera at a focal length of 12 mm to avoid converging lines on the symmetrical facade.
