Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this winter shot, an aperture of f/11 ensures a deep depth of field, while the shutter speed of 1/250 s freezes the movement of the boat. The ISO 800 allows for a sufficiently fast shutter speed in these lighting conditions, even at a 100 mm focal length.
- Use a small aperture like f/11 to ensure both the boat in the foreground and the church in the background are in sharp focus.
- Select a sufficiently fast shutter speed for snowy subjects to capture motion precisely.
- Maintain a steady hold with a 100 mm focal length to keep the image crisp despite the selected ISO sensitivity.
