Photography tips
How this image was taken
In this shot, the short shutter speed of 1/320 s ensures a sharp image of the rainbow, while the ISO 64 and aperture f/6.3 allow for high detail without image noise. The 28 mm focal length captures the rainbow in its full width above the building.
- Choose a fast shutter speed to clearly capture the delicate colours of the rainbow during changing weather.
- Use a low ISO setting to maintain high image quality and detail in the dark clouds.
- Use a wide-angle lens to compose both the prominent building in the foreground and the full arc of the rainbow harmoniously.
