Photography tips
How this image was taken
With a focal length of 300 mm, you bring the church towers close, while the f/11 aperture ensures solid depth of field. The ISO of 800 allows for a precise handheld shot at a shutter speed of 1/250 s.
- Use a long focal length for such detail shots to compactly frame urban structures against the forest background.
- Select a closed aperture like f/11 to capture the fine details of the tower spires and rooftops clearly.
- Adjust your ISO to the ambient light to ensure the short shutter speed prevents camera shake at this focal length.
