Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this scene at twilight, an aperture of f/4 provided sufficient light with moderate depth of field, while the shutter speed of 1/125 s freezes motion and an ISO of 5000 compensates for the low ambient light.
- Choose a shutter speed of at least 1/125 s to capture moving ice skaters clearly.
- Use a wide aperture such as f/4 to separate the main subject from the background in challenging lighting conditions.
- Adjust ISO settings flexibly to the ambient light to ensure proper exposure at twilight.
