Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this low-light shot, the aperture of f/9 ensures good depth of field, while ISO 1000 provides the necessary brightness. The shutter speed of 1/3 s combined with a 12 mm focal length allows for a wide-angle capture of the architectural surroundings.
- Use a wide-angle lens like 12 mm to capture the full height of the facade and the Christmas tree.
- Choose a medium aperture like f/9 to keep both the Christmas tree and the architectural details in focus.
- Adjust the ISO values in fading light to achieve sufficient exposure despite the longer shutter speed of 1/3 s.
