Photography tips
How this image was taken
This night shot uses an aperture of f/11 for deep depth of field, while the 1/2 second shutter speed at ISO 1000 captures the available lighting.
- Use a small aperture like f/11 to ensure the details of the facades and the old town lights are captured with consistent sharpness.
- Pay attention to a stable posture during a 1/2 second shutter speed to avoid motion blur when shooting handheld in these lighting conditions.
- Use an ISO of 1000 as a balance to increase light sensitivity and obtain a well-exposed image of the night scene despite the longer shutter speed.
