Photography tips
How this image was taken
To achieve a large depth of field and the distinct star effect on light points in this night shot, a narrow aperture of f/22 was used, which necessitated a long exposure time of 13 seconds.
- Use a wide-angle lens like 15 mm to capture the scene extensively and gain a wide angle of view for the urban environment.
- Select a small aperture like f/22 to transform bright light points into star-shaped reflections while keeping both foreground and background in focus.
- Adjust the ISO sensitivity to 800 to ensure sufficient brightness in the dark parts of the image, despite the long exposure time.
